About Our Council
Bishop Carl Fisher Council was instituted on June 21, 1995. The Council was instituted with the cooperation, encouragement and assistance of His Eminence, Bishop John Ricard, S.S.J. who was then Auxiliary Bishop of Baltimore.  The Council was named after an African-American member of the Society of Saint Joseph who was Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.  We have a special dedication to our Church,  to our Youth and attempt to provide assistance to the poor and needy of South Baltimore.
